FOC pulls the most recent video from your live stream feed whether your video is live streaming or not.

Troubleshooting:

You can connect with either Facebook or Youtube.
There is currently no embed code available for videos.

Facebook

Q: Why does the video say "Can't be embedded"?
A: Go to your church Facebook page and click "publishing tools" > Click "Video Library" and view the videos you have on your feed. Edit your most recent video and set the distribution to "allow embedding" (This setting may also be in the creator studio > Video Content).
There is an existing Facebook bug which prevents videos from being embedded in some instances. Until this is addressed by Facebook, we recommend using YouTube if you experience this issue. For additional info about this bug please feel free to review the related facebook for developers page.

Q: How do I connect to my livestream platform?
A: Click the FreeOnlineChurch.com logo in the top left corner. Click "Edit" and then click "Edit" again to select or change the Livestream platform.
Make sure your Facebook page is a public page and not a group or profile
Q: How do I go live?
A: Go to your church FB page, click "Create Post" and select "Go Live" OR Click "Go Live" above the "Create Post" box OR head to "Publishing tools"

Q: I see a “video can't be displayed” error message. Why is my Livestream not showing up?
A: Make sure you are going live on your Facebook page. Also, check the settings for age restrictions > Church Facebook page, "settings" General - Check the Age restrictions and location and make sure they're set to "everyone".

Q: Why are there service disruptions?
A: Service disruptions usually occur when you're removed from the Facebook page, or you change your password, or Facebook removes you.

Q: Why is the timezone different?
A: This is due to the current Facebook page settings. Our solution does not control timezone settings.

Youtube

Q: Why does the video say "Can't be embedded"?
A: Head to your channel (icon on the top right corner "Your Channel") > Click "Youtube Studio" >
Videos > edit your most recent video and click "More Options" > "allow embedding"

Q: How do I connect to my livestream platform?
A: Click the FreeOnlineChurch.com logo in the top left corner. Click "Edit" and then click "Edit" again to select or change the Livestream platform.
Make sure you only add the Youtube Channel ID and not the entire URL, e.g. if your URL is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgGboTAIQR8ujQcivmQ83hA - your ID would be UCgGboTAIQR8ujQcivmQ83hA
Q: How do I go live?
A: Click the camera at the top of the screen and click "Go Live"

Q: Why is the timezone different?
A: This is due to the current Youtube page settings. Our solution does not control timezone settings.

Additional Q&A

Q: Can I view analytics?
A: We don't currently offer analytics but that is a feature request we're considering for the future. You can see how many people viewed your video on Facebook or YouTube.

Q: Why do I see the error message “Website not secure or private”?
A: Freeonlinechurch.com does not include “www.” in subdomains. Remove the “www.” from the URL and the error message should no longer display.

Q: I’m lost. How do I find anything?
A: Click the FreeOnlineChurch.com logo in the upper left corner
